This type of facial treatment which has come from America is now being used around the world. It's been said that it's like having an 'instant facelift' which is obviously an alternative to costlier and more invasive procedures like plastic surgery, chemical peels and Botox injections.
Basically, the treatment involves the application of tiny rough grains which buff away the surface layer of your skin. This makes the body think that it has had a mild injury and then rushes to replace the lost skin cells with new and healthy ones, hence why it feels like an instant facelift.
The only problem with this type of facial is that with some people it can cause mild swelling and redness which with some can last from an hour to two days. Its therefore not an ideal treatment to have just before a special event.
