GEL POLISH MANICURE...

A gel manicure will start with a nail and cuticle tidy up then nail preparation for gel nails.

The usual nail polish is replaced with a UV Gel polish which is applied in thin coats then cured under a UV or LED lamp.

A clear top coat and base coat is also applied and some nail technicians also offer nail art.

This type of nail polish can last up to 2 weeks. The next procedure will start with the removal of the polish that is still on your nails. The nails are either soaked in a solution, or wrapped in foils with pads soaked in a solution until the polish lifts away. Sometimes they may use an orange stick or scraper to remove left over polish.

I personally find my nails a lot stronger and love the finished look which lasts very well.
