MORE DETAILS ON THE CHARITY NIGHT FOR 'ST. JOHNS AMBULANCE' ON 11th SEPTEMBER...

Our next Charity Night on September 11th is for 'St. John's Ambulance' with all funds raised used locally to provide free training sessions to the community in the first aid, cpr and hopefully paediatric FA.

There will be the usual stalls like our last Charity Night, including home made cakes/ jams and jewellery/ handbags and homemade soft furnishings and shabby chic items from Mary and Martha.

Treatments which are all for £5 each include wash and blow dry, hair up, eyebrow tint and wax, spray tans, file and paint either fingers or toes.

All treatments are on a first come first served basis and all the proceeds from these will be going to St. John's Charity.

Tea, coffee, wine, soft drinks and nibbles are all complements of the salon and there will also be a First Aid Demonstration .

There will also be a raffle with great prizes so make sure you have this very special date in your dairy. We will look forward to seeing you on the 11th.

We are holding another CHARITY night at the Hair and Beauty Lounge on Friday 11th September in aid of 'St. Johns Ambulance', from 6 - 9pm

Our last one in April was such a success that we are going to follow the same format -

The programme for the night will have something for everyone. Treatments on offer will be nail file and paint, eye brow tint and wax, spray tans, blow dries, hair taken up, down, curled or straightened ALL for only £5 each with ALL monies raised on the night going to the charity.

EXPERT TIPS ON THE REAL ORDER YOU SHOULD APPLY YOUR HAIR PRODUCTS...

Marie Claire's tips on the real order that you should apply your hair products ....

You should start with freshly cleansed, out-of-the-shower hair that's been towel-dried. 

Next up: Apply blow-dry cream or straightening cream. "For short to medium length hair, apply a quarter-sized amount—for longer hair, you can double the dose—and comb through with your hands, starting from the back of the head to the front, ensuring all strands get coated.

Next, if you want volume, dispense a marshmallow-sized amount of mousse into your hand and rub between your hands to liquefy, massaging it into your roots and down using your fingertips. 

Now its time to blow dry. If using salt or sugar spray to add texture to your hair then wait until its dry before applying it. For added shine, you can apply a tiny amount of dry oil to the ends.

Finally finish with gel or pomade to tame flyaways, and hairspray to set the look.
